Thanks for the great newsletter! I love knowing what this wild sunflower is that lines my backyard at the edge of a wooded nature reserve. I’m trying to figure out how to post a photo of it: I have a large stand of it still although not as much as a few weeks ago, right next to asters that are just starting to bloom. There is still some jewel weed hanging around too, and faded golden rod. And I also really appreciated learning some the history of the marsh near you with the legacy of genocide within the story — very sad but it seems necessary to know. I plan to get the anthology, All We Can Save. Thanks again.
